Tallahassee native Mellissa Buie, has been an artist her entire life In her twenties Mellissa did fine art through European photography. After working 15+ years as a radiologic technologist, she returned to the world of color, making artesian soaps and acrylic pour paintings. Currently, Mellissa is teaching art in a local school. Mellissa believes that with a mix of art and science, a universal playground comes to life allowing a place for people of different backgrounds and life experiences to come together into a shared community. She hopes you enjoy her functional art.
